Will the democrats please stop voting against drilling for oil locally ?

Better question,';How much is TOO MUCH?'; When it comes to gas/diesel prices, AND the subsequent costs of everything that rides in/on a truck, train, boat, or plane!!!!

I'm tired of paying to support the oil companies ';record profits'; at the COST of my own meager income.

Ten years ago, Democrats were saying,';Even if we drill here, it will be 10 years until we can see any usable oil.'; Ten years ago BILL Clinton was President, NOT George W. Bush. NOW we need OUR own oil, but it's STILL 10 years away, until the environ-mental-case Wackos change their B/S!!!Will the democrats please stop voting against drilling for oil locally ?
This is laughable how the oil people are trying to say its the Democrats causing the oil trouble, I'm not a Democrat but its still laughable. Ok for one thing there are plenty of places for oil companies to drill, the oil companies just don't want to pay land/royalty owners to drill on their land, what they want is for the national parks and anwar to be opened up and pay little or no royalties to the government to drill there. Thats the real truth, I live in Texas and travel across the state quite a bit and I have never seen less drilling going on, they want the price up during the last of Bush's term and they have cut back on drilling bigtime, also they know the game is coming to a end with all the new electric cars coming and solar becoming mainstream, no need to make this bs up about not being able to drill locally.Will the democrats please stop voting against drilling for oil locally ?
I'll tell you why they are voting for it. They want to use up as much of the oil in the middle east as possible, as a means to cripple them without war. Granted we should be drilling for oil here, but I think it is a very smart idea. After we have depleted most of their oil, we'll be the only ones left who has enormous loads of it.
If you check the oil field developement in the Gulf, in Wyoming, in Colorado, in Utah and a couple other western states you will see that evidently, no one's nay vote is making any difference. In just Wyoming, 50,000 new wells will be completed in 2008.
but didnt you hear obama on his last couple speeches?

he states, ';I will allow drilling in ANWAR to be able to bring down the dependency we have from arab oil!';

that is the BIGGEST part of ';fix'; to solve gas prices!

I find it funny because Bush as you know has tried to pass this bill for 4 years now! look it up!

They keep shooting it down!

Now, one of their own says, ';Hey lets drill here!'; and everyone is like ';Oh yeah!!!! Wow! hes smart!!!';

LOLOL

lunatics!!!!!!!!
there is that method to the madness..the US is not using their oil until the Middle East is depleted..cheap oil is going to be used up first..Yes we have OIL but at what price are we willing to sell it? Keep the oil until the world supply runs low..that has been the plan from day I
Probably not. Why would they? It would not bring gas prices down at all, just put more profits in the oil companies pockets.
Thanks for your effort but you're preaching to a stable herd.
No the will not.
Amen to that!
I second that!
