How many miles are on it? could be worn cam bearings and or oil pump.. check it with a real oil pressure gauge.. a little loss is ok, but shouldn't go below 25 lbs.When at high idle i have good oil pressure when i stop or at low idle i loose all oil pressure ?
sounds right your engine is running at higher rpm higher oil pressure low rpm low oil pressure usually drops a little, but should go back up when you drive again.the oil pickup in the engine sucks up more oil when the engine is spinning faster..but a good oil check with the engine warm is also a good thing to check but most of the time its normal. Ralpf is correct, this is why most auto makers don't put guages into cars, they have to teach and sometime argue with customers that where is says normal on the guage is only normal when the rpm is above 1800. If you are conserned or have ANY engine noise take the vehicle to a good repair shop and have it tested with a calibrated wet guage in place of the vehicle sensor.
Check your oil level - it is probably low !
