My oil light wont stop blinking?

I Just got a 2 stroke 50cc moped. It takes 91 octane fuel in the gas tank, the mix goes in a seperate tank, and 10w30 goes in the other. So I don't think the problem is with the gas mix. I have drained and changed my oil twice now and it only has 500 miles on it, the oil light will not stop blinking. What am I doin wrong?My oil light wont stop blinking?
Your NOT using 10W30 for your premix oil are you?? 10W30 is for the crankcase transmission only. You HAVE to use a two stroke blend oil for the premix. Or the motor will seize.





You can premix the gas and oil ( 2 stroke blend not 10W30) together and add it to the fuel tank if you'd like. It won't hurt anything by doing that. All motocross bikes ( 2 strokes) are mixed together and added to the tank.





If this bike is new I doubt if it is the sending unit. If it has a lot of miles on it then yes it could be the sending unit or a short in the wiring.My oil light wont stop blinking?
Either your sensor is malfunctioning or you need an oil change or to add oil. First check your oil. Do you have enough? Is the the color clear or is it rusty brown? If it is rusty brown then you need to change your oil asap! If Everything checks out then it's probably your sensor on the fritz. You need to take it in to professional to have it fixed.

The sending unit which causes the light to activate is probably the culprit. Have it checked or replace it. It's not all that expensive and replaciing it will eliminate one more possiblity.
