There could be a problem with your oil pump. Rarely the pump itself goes bad. What you'll find is that the intake becomes clogged, or the relief spring goes bad, usually its the intake screen. What happens is maybe a previous owner wasn't loyal with their oil changes. Gunk blocks the oil pump intake screen, and doesn't allow oil into the pump, causing it to cavitate, and not provide enough volume/pressure.. Try some crankcase flushing product and see if that helps, before you tear it apart. If that's your problem, you'll be happy. If it's not, you won't cause anymore damage than you already have. The other thing that will cause this is cam bearings. This is where the oil passes through first when it leaves the pump. This is also where the sending unit for your oil pressure light is located.Y oil light blinks on at a stop when engine is hot?
Check the oil pressure, maybe it's low due to low oil level, poor oil pump output, worn piston oil rings, clogged filter, improper oil viscosity, etc.

When you increase RPMs, the threshold minimum pressure is exceeded and your oil light goes out. At a stop, or under load, lower RPMs result in falling pressure and the light is on again!

Good Luck!
IS THERE ANY OIL IN IT?
Check the oil level.
check oil level first if that is ok it could be the oil pump is going bad
Could be a sure sign the oil pump is not producing enough oil pressure. When the engine is cold the oil is thick and the pump has oil pressure, but when it is hot the oil is thin and the pump loses oil pressure.
