Why would the oil pressure in my suv go down when i stop, and go up when i move?

I have a 1996 GMC Jimmy, 104K miles, just got itWhy would the oil pressure in my suv go down when i stop, and go up when i move?
The oil pressure is not as great at idle (when you're sitting still) as when you are accelerating because the engine turns at higher RPMs (revolutions per minute) during acceleration or at cruising speed thus increasing the oil pressure. If I remember correctly, the idle oil pressure should be around 30 or better and will go up to around 45 or 50 during acceleration/driving. This will vary a little depending on the weight of the oil you use and the temperature. The gauge will usually show the pressure reading between the middle and three fourths. Cold oil and temperatures will show higher pressure than warm oil and temps because the oil is thicker when cold and thus will cause more pressure. Synthetic oils will sometimes show less pressure but thats because they flow easier. There should be something about it in the owner's manual as to the normal range or just ask a trusted mechanic or dealer. Why would the oil pressure in my suv go down when i stop, and go up when i move?
oilpressure gauges are working with the pressure of the oil in the crank case when the car is moving

when the engine in not turning there is no oil pressure to be recorded

Better watch out is there is no oilpressure reading when the car is moving.

this shows that there is a shortage of oil, and that you could lock your engine up.
