The conservative machine thinks we were all born at night, last night. We realize that they had majority control of all 3 branches of Gov't from 2000-2006, During that time, had they wanted to, they could have passed any of these bills that they are currently wanting to blame the Dems on.





They are also in denial, or too full of the Kool-Aid, to simply answer why don't the big oil companies drill on the lands that they have, and why don't they uncap some of those thousands of wells that were capped decades ago? hmmm....cat got your tongues%26gt;How many typical Republicans were forced to stop drilling for oil on your own land by tree hugging Liberals???
Hmmm almost 75% of the current public land open to drill on is being sat on by people who make more money in the speculation market -- they have the bids, they are doing nothing with it.





So tell me, why should we increase the amount of land to drill on, when they have touched just a fraction of what is already in their hands?





Furthermore, OPEC increased oil production a week and a half ago and guess what? The price is still rising. Explain that.





Oh wait, that would mean you actually know something about economics, and, clearly, you do not. The trading U.S. Dollar has lost HALF it's value since Bush came into office. The speculation market accounts for 25-45% of the current price of gas. So fix those 2 things and you will have gas back to pre-Bush prices.
Every american has been refused the right to drill on their land. Socialist/communist minds cannot understand ANWAR is owned by the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
