Do you think that america should stop shipping in oil from other country's?

I think the plan is to use up all theirs first, then start using ours. Iraq has enough oil to last thousands of years, BTW...Do you think that america should stop shipping in oil from other country's?
Isn't going to happen anytime soon as our leaders haven't done anything to make it happen. Also the citizens of our fair country really haven't pushed the issue until gas went up to $4.00 a gal. Then they want it, and want it now.





President Obama and his Congress isn't going to do anything until the voters of this country demand it.





It would be cheaper for us to quit buying oil from other countries plus then at least we would have some control over the price and not have to make war with countries that have the oil.Do you think that america should stop shipping in oil from other country's?
About 58% of the oil we use is imported. Until we take serious steps to reduce consumption we can't realistically reduce imports.
No because America can not afford the alternative at this time.


Oil can be made from coal. The USA has lots of coal.

Where should we get the oil then? No, better buy the oil from someone else and keep ours.
