oil prices are hardly *ruining* this country. oil has quintupled in the past 6 years, and we all still manage to drive as much as we used to.





when oil was $20 it was practically free. at $100 it's still cheap. maybe when it gets to $300 it'll start to reflect its true value...
Congress doesn't give a hoot about the economy nor the American people. They just see more money to waste on foolishness. And more bribes to be made. Remember, the oil companies pay no taxes. Not a nickel. We do. So the oil companies are in favor of the taxes.
