Since SUVs burn too much oil & pollute more would you stop buying em if you have a friend with lung cancer?

Why even wait for the cancer? Unless you spend a good part of your driving time off road (making the clearance and power necessary) while also carrying at least four passengers (making the large interior necessary), get something smaller, and save a lot of money on the $6.00 a gallon gas we'll soon be buying.Since SUVs burn too much oil %26amp; pollute more would you stop buying em if you have a friend with lung cancer?
You are making the mistake of lumping ALL SUV's together and branding them bad, bad.

The fact is that there are MANY SUV's with VERY efficient 4 and 6 cyl engines, so shut up already.

And to answer your question: NO! 99% of the people with lung cancer get it from smoking/smokersSince SUVs burn too much oil %26amp; pollute more would you stop buying em if you have a friend with lung cancer?
Not all SUV's do this, and some of them are much more environmentally friendly than your ';average'; sedan. Examples are Honda CRV, Toyots RAV4, and Subaru Forrester.

Except in extreme cases, people wouldn't get lung cancer just from SUV's. Have you driven behind a city diesel bus or big dump truck lately?? They pollute FAR more.
I wouldn't buy an SUV unless i had many children to haul around. If i did have one and a friend had lung cancer, I don't think me getting rid of mine would solve the air pollution problem.. there are still way too many other forms of air pollution and also way too many trunks and suvs
SUV's don't burn oil jackass, study the subject matter before you ask stupid questions.
I don't buy them anyway because I can't afford to pay $75 every time I pull up to the pump.
I would stop way before that happens. For the health of both flora and fauna. Peace.
SUV=Stupid Useless Vehicle. However, they do not cause cancer. Smoking and Radon gas are the top 2 causes of Lung Cancer. Drive Station Wagons instead of SUVs. Better handling, mileage, comfort, safety, and they look cool...
lung cancer has many causes...not just pollution
