When will all this oil business BS stop? Its just ridiculous. Seriously this is America, We can do better.?

Money, money, money, mooooooney!





My nephew went to Costa Rica this past summer. He was amazed that the poor people down there all have solar panels on their houses.





My neighbor recently sold his 5 bedroom house and rebuilt right outside of town. His new mansion is so large that, although it's about 1/4 mile from the highway, it appears to be right next to the highway. His trees are lit up. None of his five vehicles were chosen for fuel efficiency. (By the way, he and his wife are the only ones who drive. His kids are too young). And. even at that distance from the highway, you can see his crystal chandelier burning at all hours.








The elite are failing us. Their greed has overcome their intelligence. America is doomed.When will all this oil business BS stop? Its just ridiculous. Seriously this is America, We can do better.?
Oil is still cheap enough that apparently the market feels we can't do better right now. Give it time, it will come. It might be in 200 years but it'll happen. Right now though buck for buck I can't move people or goods for cheaper than it costs to fill a station wagon.When will all this oil business BS stop? Its just ridiculous. Seriously this is America, We can do better.?
The genius of the American system is that if you can actually find a way to do better, you can make a lot of money at it. So stop complaining and get cracking.
Tell that to the people driving around in their big gas guzzling suvs! We need to change the American way of thinking. The thought that we are ';defined'; by what we own. Huge houses, Huge suv's etc...All of which require a lot of oil and gas to heat and run. We have helped many other countries ';industrialize'; and they too require this oil and gas to keep moving their economies forward. So there really is a downside to promoting democracy in EVERY country. We have now created a huge demand on something in limited supply. We have the technology for alternate energy already. We just need to employ them. This is hard to do considering in the long run it will reach into the deep pockets of Big oil. It is all very frustrating, however the only thing to do is your part to conserve, and vote for change!
Good point, I'm filling my car up with ice tea first thing tomorrow.
Liberals yap about wanting alternative energy sources, yet they don't want nukes, they don't want wind power, they don't want hydro...





I guess their idea is to power the nation with a few bazillion hamsters on little itty-bitty treadmills.
When Americans decide that the price is too high. We have had the means to be energy independent since the 1970s but we have chosen GREEN instead.





Green ain't all that green. With nuclear for our electricity and heating switched to electric our own oil supplies would hold our cars until we could all get switched to electric ones. It is all a matter of how deep our pockets are.
THE FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS GET AFTER THE DEMOCRATIC CONGREE TO DO WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD,LOL.WE'LL REPEAL THE GAS TAX! YEAH,THEY'LL GET RIGHT ON THAT.
