What's going on again? when you come to a stop the car turns off. Check to see if your idle (throtle) position is NOT too low.MY 1991 HONDA ACCORD RUNS AND THEN WHEN I STOP IT TURNS OFF. I CHANGED THE OIL AND SPRAK PLUGS. ?
have you checked the timing or the idle on the car? Are the spark plugs gapped right?
Its engine may be dying out.. DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH MILEAGE THAT CAR HAS BECAUSE IT SOUNDS PRETTY OLD..... If not take it to the mechanic DO NOT TRY ANYTHING YOURSELF AS YOU WILL SURELY MAKE IT WORSE....
I used to have a 1991 Accord. It's a great car! I sold mine with 236,000 miles on it and it still ran great.

I had a couple of problems during it's lifetime that might be similar to yours

1) There was an issue with the distributor which cased the car to stop running. It had to be replaced.

2) The main relay on the alternator went bad and caused the car to die in hot weather. It took forever to diagnose but when they figured it out and replaced the relay the car ran fine.
sounds like the throttle position sensor needs to be adjusted, but you can,t do it yourself, you have to take it to a garage and they hook up a volt meter or a scan tool to adjust it. also it might be the gas filter needs changing.
