There is oil in the propane line. The fridge and stove have stopped working. Oil is coming out of the propane line. The regulator on the propane tank was full of oil. What can I do about this?Motorhome: oil in the propane system. Once cold weather, oil stopped regulators. Any suggestions?
Propane will do that if it is overheated. Does the line run through an area that is too close to the exhaust of the engine? We see that in propane powered vehicles sometimes. Restricting the water flow to the convertor usually cures it up.
Edit: The restricting of water flow is for motor fuel, not for appliances. It sounds like you don't have a temperature problem, so it could only be a contaminated propane supply. If it is a refillable container, take it back to where you last got it filled. If it is a permantly mounted tank on the motorhome, you will have take it to a repair dealer.
