It's common for oil pressure to fluctuate a little with engine speed. I would start with the oil pressure sending unit first. Inexpensive and easy to do. Does your engine light come on?I have a 1992 ford exploder truck as im slowing down to a stop my oil pressure gauge goes from normal to less?
My F-150 does the same thing. somthing with the guage

has a problem. its not a big worry.
You may want to have your oil pressure checked with a mechanical guage then if ok, replace the sending unit .
Hi....well i hope all you got to do is change the oil pressure switch on engine block...like most things do not last for ever...but could be a weak oil pump..not so good...or lack of oil pressure in the crank...but the last thing you want will take 2 Min's..check oil level...if that's OK....well looking at other stuff....if you are not in to the spanner stuff take to someone you can trust not to rip you off....as may be a switch....and you get charged for engine rebuild.....just check out ...who and how long job will take...some people get ripped off as they know nothing about cars.....plus get all independent quotes take a look .and see who is full of the BUSH STUFF..SORRY BLAIR....AS IN BULL STUFF...and report them to TRADING STANDARDS%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;ALL BEST....
Maybe because it's a Ford EXPLODER!
