Abruptly stop using oil?

What will happen to the earth if the whole world stops polluting? I saw on this website:

';Say we all stop using oil tomorrow. That would mean that suddenly, we will stop putting huge amounts of carbon dioxide into our atmosphere. Over the years, we鈥檝e got huge amounts of green plants, plankton and algae on our planet.... These plants and algae will suck all of the carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.... Kickstart an instant, all-out Ice Age, as our planet is robbed from its protective carbon dioxide 鈥榗oat鈥?';

I don't know how much credit the person who made up this website has. I'm just wondering if this could really happen?Abruptly stop using oil?
Erm... hrm... Ahem... Umm... ya... Okay... Ready... First off, ask yourself this: how did the world survive before cars were invented? It was an ice age until we started making cars or something... NO! Natural chemical reactions that take place all the time that make CO2. It's carbon and oxygen... Two VERY common elements. Human breathing creates CO2, for Pete's sake! In other words, it's very hard to run out of CO2, and very easy to create it, so... just forget that article. He probably owns an oil company and probably wants us to drive more.
